as front line workers and care workers are having to be vaccinated to do their jobs.
shouldn't the people who serve their food also be mandatory vaccinated ?
and then shouldn't the people who prepare their food be mandatory vaccinated ?
and if that is so then shouldn't the people who insist on these vaccinations also be mandatory vaccinated ?etc.etc.etc.

YMB, Vaccines are a risk and some do have severe reactions but I think the positive outweighs the negative by a very long way. As I said, it's a choice.
I've had covid and it wasn't too bad, Remember the survival rate is 99.7% for most people. The media have made sure they have scared people to death that they are all going on ventilators if they get covid, there are also plenty of treatment options without putting an unknown concoction into your blood stream with unknown long term implications.

Others haven't been so fortunate.
//the positive outweighs the negative by a very long way//

Statistically. But not for everyone, which is why it has to be a choice.
Mrs cheese is an antivaxxer and should be treated as such

covid - I have had two " I thought I was going to die" - one 45y unvacc ( Mar 2020) and and one 70, immuno suppressed and double vaccinated

and it wasnt too bad - well whooopy for Mrs Cheese - so she has had it and everyone else can play Russian Roulette - whooppee !

and the survival rate is NOT 99.7% - lots of dead people in and out of Hospital

other than that - not much wrong with the post

I cannot think of a more apt and felicitous comment
There are always two sides, at least, though, pp. And it's just dishonest to pretend there aren't.
A minority have died or been temporarily or permanently incapacitated by the vaccine alone.
General stats look very positive, but when there is an individual risk, there has to be an individual choice. Nobody should have the right to directly risk another person's life or health. And before you say it- covid is a natural, indirect risk, not deliberately forced on people.
12:18, of course statistically.
I had covid right at the beginning of the pandemic, seemed like nothing worse than mild flu at the time BUT I had long covid, it's nearly two years now of breathlessness, fatigue, joint pain and now although I am a lot better I still have taste and sense distortion and can only do a fraction of what I could before.
Peter why are you outraged? the vaxxers in here want compulsory vaccinations with the knowledge that some people will be killed, disabled or left with life changing illnesses as a result of having the Jab. oh but that's fine isn't it...

Who has the right to force someone to take a vaccination that may kill them?
Or not have one knowing they might kill someone.
The risks of death from the vaccinne are far smaller than the risks of dying from covid if unvaccinated.
But I don't believe it should be compulsory even though most antivaxxers are misinformed or just anti society
even though most antivaxxers are misinformed or just anti society

I think so-called antivaxers have probably done more reading up on the subject than most.
Yes usually obscure youtube clips not medical or science books. Not speaking to doctors or scientists to check, the anti vaxxer zealots just listen to there own small band
lol that big anti vaxxer himself Dr Robert Malone, inventor of the MRNA vaccine

Tracy from Facebook does not really hold much sway with the sensible though
13.44, I’ve had all three vaccinations - that was my choice - but I don’t advocate compulsory vaccination.
Bobbin //The risks of death from the vaccinne are far smaller than the risks of dying from covid if unvaccinated.//

Nobody has said otherwise. Try reading.
To be fair, I think many people are wary of "this" vaccine, because it is fairly new, and doesn't prevent the illness. Nobody can know the longterm effects yet, so people can choose, like I made my choice. It doesn't make them all anti-vaxxers.

It does not claim to prevent the illness
But as has been pointed out so many times it will dramatically reduce your chances of requiring hospitalisation or succumbing to it

You are no better than Tracy from Facebook. Yes you like to shout loud to anyone who will listen to you about all your COVID expertise as if you are some kind soothsayer, but you actually know next to nothing.
I also know next to nothing which is why I don't go about trying to ridicule people who have different opinions than me.

Even the real experts don't seem to know what comes next.
