we had a telepone engineer ( under 20 y of age ) who was Ndebele ( yes really). I asked him if he was vaccinated, and he hesitated, and clicked 'no' (*) and I thought - 'you are a damned fool, you will kill your grandparents!" (+)

My take on careful socialising would be to keep clear of people (Couple of meters), particularly strangers. Anyone singing, extend the distance. Things like that.

I socialise normally. I don't ask people if they've been vaccinated. Their choices are their business.

My wife and I will be out in the pub or restaurant this weekend as normal, won't give it a second thought who we are near or anything like that nor will we test ourselves before we go out. Its utterly pointless, we've had our 3 injections, that'll do.

there have been several studies saying vaccination makes you a lot less infectious, though, so yes, you're safer with vaccinated people than unvaccinated.
