come on Gully
suck your belly button in...

I email the Beeb regularly; 'can you please not look so pleased when you triumphantly report adverse tory news?'

they dont of course ( look glummer )
That's the same Labour party that saw its vote fall by 70% in North Shropshire recently then, is it, Gulliver?

18.26 Yes that them Chico "North Shropshire", a seat that Labour didn't really bother campaigning for. Because they Knew the Tories had held that seat for 200 years and N/S (WERE) Dyed in the wool Cons and the Cons would win it .
.........................But They Didn't .....Did They......
At least it wasn't as bad for them as Chesham & Amersham, where they lost a staggering 91% of their votes ;-)
a bit unfair on Sunak, then, he's been competent, and hasn't been spotted at a lot of parties.
Gulliver, do you ACTUALLY want a Labour Government again after the devastation they left in their wake last time? They left this country on its knees. Are you serious, mental, or are you just an incredibly good wind-up merchant?

oh stop badgering him - he has a difft political philosophy to you ( to yours) - I agree that whenever Labour are in power they seem able to flush the economy darn da jarn in record time ....
When have I badgered him?

He's been unpardonably rude to me at times but I've never badgered him.
Yes, the Tories are in abit of a hole at the moment, no question about it, the only question is are they going to stop digging?
The next three months will tell us.
Trouble is, come the next GE, folk will recall that it was the Labour party that supported the recent dodgy decisions by Boris, and will realise it's a reason not to vote for that party.
I'll be voting for them as things stand at present old geezer.. . Labour is united on covid and isn't being affected by internal party politics like the tories. Some of those tories are blaming covid policies but it's green policies they really dislike.... them anti green and covid measures tories are out of touch and will be punished at an election.
bobinwales: "Labour is united on covid and isn't being affected by internal party politics like the tories." - they are split down the middle!
Labour in fact are not split down the middle: Starmer has quietly but firmly marginalised the left.
Meanwhile the Tories don’t know whether they are the party of the shires or the so-called red wall
I think green policies is a bit of a red herring. There’s a broad cross party consensus on that now.
With the Tories it’s tax and spend/large state versus tax cuts/small state
"Labour in fact are not split down the middle: Starmer has quietly but firmly marginalised the left. " - well surely that means they are split!
Er no it doesn’t :-)

Other than the usual differences you’d get in a large party
And compared to the Tories just now they speak as one :-)

Lol
But neither did Labour !
So instead of fighting for it they just caved and gave it to the Lib Dems ?
Tells you all about their battling mindset eh ?
If they want to win the next election (more chance of juggling soot) they have got to convert blue to red
Not gonna do it in that fashion though eh ?
I really do appreciate the linkless comedy value you provide on a regular basis
