//..people traveling round the globe 24/7 transmiting and receiving viruses etc...i see no end to it, so what is it jabbed 4 times a year forever...//
It was always thus.
It is likely that this virus will continue to evolve into a mild nuisance for the vast majority and a nasty, possibly fatal disease for a very small minority (rather like it is now). Vaccinations will be required until that mixture means that health facilities are not under threat of being overrun. Eventually, as with 'flu, only the most vulnerable will need it. In the UK's case, since the NHS is in a perpetual state of crisis (especially so in the winter) this level may be more difficult to achieve. Since no political party seems to have any intention of doing anything about the NHS except throw ever increasing sums of money at it only to see it frittered away, we may be stuck with vaccinations for a little longer than most. Countries which look on their health provision with a little more pragmatism instead of treating it as a religion may fare better.
//Booster jabs are currently being done in a tenth of the time//
Yes they are - once you get to a place where you can roll your sleeve up. If the entire population is to receive jabs four times a year, the process of arranging appointments needs to be a little more slick. Not everybody can afford to queue for two or three hours or to undertake an eighty mile round trip to a clinic. This will mean involving the private sector almost exclusively because as soon as the NHS gets its hands on such a major task it falls apart.
