I would suggest that Cummings started plotting his revenge the day he got home with those boxes.

He would have got out his address book and started phoning his Downing Street friends ... and Boris's enemies ...

He despised Johnson and Johnson despised him. The clever ones keep their ammo dry and only bring it out when needed; and they have long memories and long grudges.

But when the country required steely determination and a resolve to see matters through with determination and decorum he has been found to be severely lacking
The guy has lied through his teeth for a living since entering politics and is now being found out
The party know they have to ditch him as soon as a reasonable candidate is identified by the 1922 bosses
He is doing irreparable damage to his party on a weekly if not daily basis and will be gone soon enough

Atheist, my post means that if Cummings has leaked details of gatherings that took place after he departed the premises someone else must have passed that information to him.

Doesn't surprise me, I believe I've mentioned similar on these pages before.

I doubt very much he had anything in those boxes. He will have farmed it off well before then, its not difficult - I bet they dont even block the USM let alone the Cloud. Having working in Banking I know backup mails etc is done all the time to protect oneself from the inevitable night of the long knives.
