I’m sick of hearing about Boris, possibly breaking the rules. What about the economy, illegal immigrants, Russians imminent invasion of the Ukraine. This is all smokescreens. Covering up a lot bigger problems.

I had a little titter when I read that Downing Street is a work place. Plus a love nest, and a bank for friends and families.

How could walking into a room where your darling Mum or Dad lay dying and a mask was worn, possibly be a danger to others ? It was a stupid rule and should NOT have been brought about and yes, I would have broken it if my Mum or Dad were lying there needing me at the end of their life. I know it's easy to say that, but I also know the love and compassion I had for them at the end of their lives and it would be akin to keeping a mother bear away from her cubs. I didn't agree with a lot of the rules, there was way too much scaremongering (especially on here) and this will be realised as people get their sense back and more time passes !! (Hopefully).

No matter what the rules were that Boris and his cronies broke, he made the rules for all aspects of life and as such should NOT have broken any of them, be it in the workplace or something else. The fact is he didn't lead by example and thus let us down. That is the point I am trying to make.

But, he's far from perfect, the same as most politicians !!

That's it, I'm done with this thread now .....

As well as rules preventing you from seeing your dying relatives, there were also rules preventing you from holding birthday parties for relatives like your 7-year-old daughter who wrote to the Prime Minister about it, or your 56-year-old husband who actually was the Prime Minister.
