Granted, being strip searched is not nice, and the men were unprofessional, but she could have avoided the whole situation by
1) going away when they asked her to
2)not passively resisting and co-operating
3) giving them her name when requested

//She did nothing wrong.//

She obstructed the police (an offence) & did not comply with reasonable requests for her details. She did wrong. END OF!!!!!!
She did nothing wrong, gromit? She obstructed the police.
Plod was over the top, probably sick to death of TROB do gooding busy bodies getting in the way when they are trying to control the epidemic of knife crime. Ironic that the yob they were searching actually had a knife. No idea why she was strip searched, just nick her and prosecute.

it appears she doesn't mind the whole world knowing her name, the bbc, everyone who reads the article. She doesnt mind telling everyone she has PTSD, that she was assaulted and so on. Curious then she minds giving the police her name (which could have avoided all that)
Read about this last week.

It had taken almost a decade for the Metropolitan Police to apologise to Koshka Duff for the language they used when they assaulter her (as evidenced by the CCTV footage).

Back in 2013, she was arrested after offering legal advice to a 15-year-old who was being stopped and searched.

Female police officers handcuffed her and used leg restraints, pinned her to the floor, and cut her clothes off her while male officers were watching.

CCTV shows the language the police used. A female officer comments on her having “a lot of hair” on her body, while the male officers make ‘jokes’ about a smell coming from her possessions (“oh, it’s her knickers, yeah?”).

One of the men tells his female colleague that she needs “defumigating” after touching Duff. Then they comment on whether they find Duff’s body “rank”.

One police officer is even caught on camera bragging about the size of his dick and how his former partner couldn’t keep all his sperm in her mouth.

When she complained the Met her recollection was false. But then the CCTV was obtained by her counsel and they apologised.
SP, we all agree plod was out of order but why was she interfering with the police dealing with a Knife wielding thug?
TTT - that’s not relevant to her complaint - as she was tried and found not guilty of the crime for which she was charged.

I agree with her summary of events. The strip search was punishment and the language the officers used whilst it was occurring was unprofessional
