I tuned in to BBC News at 12.00 to find out the result of the by-election - after waiting twenty-five minutes for it to be even mentioned it was given less than two minutes coverage. I think this is disgraceful and is sadly indicative of the BBC's anti Conservative party bias. The report said the Conservatives had 'hung on' to the seat - hardly an appropriate term. Time they lost the licence fee.
There wasn’t a contest, the opposition stood down. It was a foregone conclusion that the Conservative’s would win the seat. As such it is low on the news agenda.
write and tell them
no main party candidates - sozza reset - ONE main party candidate
thousand spoilt ballots - this does not signify " I am too thick to put and X in a box, I am a fully paid up member of AB"
BUT
" I wish to vote but there is no one on the ballot worf voting for"
and when the average ABer huffs and puffs(*) and says - it is a matter of honour ( not to field candidates) I think of Boris and laugh....
(*) o god and dont forget the screaming and insistence I am a troll
Is it the bit about the PA news media agency reporting that people had spoiled their ballot papers? Trying to read your mind I cannot see anything else (but who knows)
Surely that's some voters putting the boot in (to the PM)
A pretty tasteless thing to do in the circumstances, but I don't think it was the BBC doing it .
The report mentioned spoilt ballot papers with anti Boris messages on them.
The BBC are not allowed to report that fact or that 4 aides left Downing Street, and by doing so they so, they confirm they are leftwing and Tory bashers.
Ich, A nice little link to an article entitled 'I couldn't be bothered, I think it's a total mess', followed by //The PA Media news agency said it had seen a number of the spoilt ballot papers containing messages directed against Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
One featured the comment "Boris do a Brexit - get out", while another member of the electorate scrawled "Get Boris out".//
