Do you think Will was justified in slapping one on Chris Rock? I really like Will and will admit to having a wee crush on him but he shouldn't have resorted to violence. Having said that, Chris was an idiot saying what he said considering Jada has a medical condition, alopecia.

If America had a royal family we wouldn't need this drivel. :-P
Doug, we have this drivel in this country too.
Looks staged to me, not a mark on the geezer, it's not like they are actors is it? ......hang on!
Apparently, there is quite a bit of history between Smith and Rock and it isn't the first time Rock has had a dig at JPS.
I think Smith was wrong to slap Rock and there has been an unseemly amount of hypocrisy displayed across Tinsletown and the media since he did........but by all accounts Rock has had it coming for a long time and not just from Smith.
Did anyone see the photos taken of Will Smith and his family? His children look like spoilt brats, not one smile between them.
Let me re-do the headline :

*** Up-himself 'actor' may (or may not) have slapped unfunny 'comedian' ***

It reeks of fake - but even if it's real, who gives a flying ferret?
Dave, Spot on description of Will 'I love myself ' Smith
I still say it's staged, Rock hasn't got a mark on his boat.
How much of a mark do you expect if he was slapped?
And what would be the point of two guys who hate each other staging this ?
Can you imagine the ruckus if either of the protagonists had been white.
^^^
No, what ruckus would there have been ?
It might depend on who delivered the girlie slap, Bazile.
The none funny joke was out of order, but it looks staged to me as well bearing in mind Chris Rock is also an actor... to what ends I have no idea.
Black actor slaps black comedian for making a joke about his black actress wife and unleashes torrent of foul-mouthed abuse, all live on primetime TV, on the sixtieth anniversary of Sidney Poitier winning the first ever Oscar for a black actor, overshadowing the whole ceremony (who won Best Actress?) ... and, the cherry on the cake, the black actor then goes on to win Best Actor. Of course it's not staged ... it's a PR disaster.
Too bloody right!!!!!!!!
In response to previous reply, I thought it was a good slap, I don’t think even Mike Tyson could have slapped someone’s lights out.

Yep, thanks, just pointing out that fewer people know that than know what Will Smith did on the night ...

"Just goes to show what inclusion can bring forth."

Still not sure what you mean by this. Inclusion of who?

What do you think caused this to happen? Are you saying that the inclusion of certain actors lead to this and is so - how?
Will clearly needs anger management training. He was a b. idiot and hopefully will be explaining his assault to the police. He blubbering afterwards to the audience is just trying to justify himself. The jest was hardly anything devastating. He needs to get a grip on reality and not show himself up.
