Andrew:
Offered a weekend at a luxury villa in the sun, good food, fine wine and for afters, nubile young girls for entertainment.
Not for you Johny ABer, so really you have nothing to offer, just platitudes, disgust and perhaps deep down........envy.
Problem.....he was caught.
How many of you male ABers would have turned that weekend down?...........certainly not sqad.
The Queen:
A mother and when questions arise concerning mother and offspring, logic flies out of the window.
I don't know Andrew, never met him, but what I have heard about him isn't endearing, but I do feel rather sorry for the guy.
That's my input.

You and I know of old that our views on this type of situation differ considerably, so there is little point in my challenging you, I respect your right to your view, although I don't share it.
// Problem.....he was caught. //
I do have to take issue with that particular statement -
In my view, the problem is not that 'he was caught', but that money and power and entitlement and invincibility facilitate this kind of behaviour.
The fact that he was caught is actually part of the solution, rather than the problem.
It shone a light into the dark corners of the lifestyles and behaviours of two particularly horrible men, one of whom opted out of dealing with the consequences of he behaviour, and the other who has further used his money and power to sidestep the consequences of his.

elliemay - // I remember when he was going out with Koo Stark, maybe if he'd been allowed to marry her, things might have turned out better for him //
I once had a long and detailed conversation with someone who was a close friend of Koo Stark, who advised that she really did love him, hence her silence from that day to this.
It's possible that the influence of someone who might have steered Andrew away from his monumentally appalling judgement and absence of awareness of either himself, or the real world in which he does not live. may have made him a different man than the vainglorious egotistical monster he has clearly become.
Instead, he finished up with a money-grubbing, coarse, brash, braying Sloane with a similar absence of manners, common sense, intelligence, or the basic ingredients of what it takes to be a sensitive, feeling, caring human being.
We'll never know what might have been.

Yes, in a Utopian Society, I do agree with you, but in practical terms, money means power and that may lead to a life that is open to the likes of you and me, exhibited in many aspects of society in which sex is just one. The rich have a portal to a special environment which performs by it's own rules and regulations.
