//There was no need for Boris to go to Ukraine in person. He saw a bandwagon and jumped on it.//

did you think the same when the leader of your glorious EU, Ursula von der Leyen, went to Ukraine last week?

Or is it ok for the EU?

Well done Boris, something you dont often hear me saying these days.
It's Ok for Ursula von der Leyen, who visited a couple of days ago, and it's OK for Boris, who visited yesterday. It was also very OK when the prime ministers of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia visited on March 15, when things in Kyiv were a lot more dangerous than they are now.

I think maybe the bandwagon comments come because Boris is hardly the first to visit, and nobody else has received such praise on AB - especially von der Leyen!

But it is good that he's visited, good the mast that he's nailed our colours to, and good the weapons that we're supplying. We could still do much more, not least taking in far more refugees far faster than we have to date.
A contender for BA there Ellipsis.
Not sure he was even the first to visit that day.
Austria’s PM was there on Saturday
Well done, Boris:-)
Well done, Boris? :-))

The body language and facial expression of President Zelensky isn't saying.....Well done, Boris.
Well- I am :-)
Not sure what body language you were studying there ;-)

Austria’s PM was there on Saturday// Nehammer's visit was part of a group, en masse, Boris was alone, though he is going to meet Putin (if he makes it which I doubt) tomorrow.
Jesus wept Gromit and StGness, surely you’re able to give a little
bit of credit where credit is due aren’t you?

You may dislike Boris (and I’m no “fanboy” (as Gromit oh so wittily keeps on calling people who support him) far from it), but doesn’t his visit make you a tiny bit proud Gromit? The Zoom comment was crass.

I see the Taoiseach hasn’t visited. Perhaps wait for him to visit StGness, before rubbishing Boris.
