I cannot make any sense of that Daily Mail link about ride on mowers.
It says Parliament will block the EU move to add £50 to Insurance premiums.
We are not in the EU so the new rules would not apply here surely? Or am I missing something?

They would if we were still in the EU, hence a big gain for Brexit (another one to add to my list).

There will be millions of people with vast lawns outside their terrace houses, who will be thankful they voted brexit.
In truth this probably affects 1% of the population, and if they have a home with grounds so large they need a ride on mower, then they can probably afford to be fully insured.
Even when we were in the EU, the UK could opt out of any legislation it wanted to.
