Ukrainian news agency UNIAN reports that Gen Valery Gerasimov was wounded in an attack in Izyum (city of the poisoned cakes) yesterday afternoon which killed 20 of Russia’s top military brass and wounded many others.
It’s believed 11 Russian generals have been taken out since the war began. It begs the observation: someone is putting some intelligence from somewhere to mighty good use.
Meanwhile another huge fire in Belgorod and a bridge down in the Kursk region …

Rumour has it next Monday Putin will declare war on Ukraine (he never was one for keeping up with events) and declare a general mobilisation
The May 9th event is being billed as a ‘Victory Day Parade’.
They apparently don’t do irony in Moscow.
The Russian population have been threatened, that if they don't turn up they will have their gas cut off.

Well, its always a victory day parade.
Funnily enough its only in comparatively recent times that its become such a big thing.
If the idea was to have some sort of “victory” in Ukraine by then well I should think its been quietly dropped.
May be they will claim victory for the number of missiles and shells dropped on the same place ( Mariupol) Apart from the steel works, what the point in keep bombing a place that's been flattened to the ground for weeks now. I can only assume they are still having big problems there that they are not letting on about?
