I've just heard on the radio that even before this case starts it has cost over a million pounds.
What a complete waste of money considering how many people are struggling to pay energy bills and cost of living etc, surely a few phone calls or meet ups could've sorted this petty argument out!

Thing is , it's not money that would otherwise go to help the populus with their energy bills and cost of living .
So whatever costs they incur is neither here nor there , given it's their money , they are spending

"I think Mrs Rooney will win because her investigation method was fool proof."
"Mrs Vardy strenuously denied being the leak, immediately calling Mrs Rooney on the phone to protest her innocence and within half an hour posting her defence on social media saying a number of people had access to her accounts."
If that is true, unless she has vicarious responsibility for the actions of those with the access, is she responsible for the leaks?
