You're actually bragging that our PM has only been fined once, TTT? Really?
Question Author
ken, who's bragging? I'm pointing out that Gulliver, who would have been all over this if it had gone his way, suddenly hasn't noticed. Furthermore I am speculating that far from forcing Boris' resignation, Rodders may well have forced his own.
Good.

Let’s draw a line under Boris’s birthday cake and Starmer’s beer and curry social, and move on.

Both are trivialities.
Ditto to that^
Please let it be Abbott.

all in the best possible taste, eh DTC?
TTT; Forget Gully - he's not worth it. Get a life (without him).

DTC; was it disrespectful or rude about Ms Rayner? Was it distasteful or irrelevant to her political abilities? Can't people post without being childish? If not, then why can't we have sensible and grown-up discussion?
After her flashing in the Commons, she has lost not only my respect but many of her potential electorate out there, in the public at large or even on this biased medium.....
At PMQs on 1 December 2021, Keir Starmer asked: “As millions of people were locked down, was a Christmas party thrown in Downing Street for dozens of people on 18 December 2020?”

Boris Johnson replied: “All guidance was followed completely in Number 10.”

Starmer continued to press, saying that at the time, government guidance stated that “you must not have a work Christmas lunch or party”.

Mr Johnson responded: “I have said what I have said about Number 10 and the events of 12 months ago.”

Police have now issued fines for that party on December 18, 2020, which makes Johnson's reply to Starmer on 1 December 2021, at PMQs, a lie.

The guidance was actually stricter than the law, which means that given the law was broken, the guidance was well and truly not followed.

If this lying to Parliament is not brought up by Sue Gray, if not before, I'll be surprised.

"Police have now issued fines for that party on December 18, 2020, which makes Johnson's reply to Starmer on 1 December 2021, at PMQs, a lie. " - an opinion is not a lie.
LOL
Same old same old daily dose from TTT, you've got that many opinions yourself, you've forgotten what a lie is

I think literacy is a left wing problem love. RBID for a start.
All them parties going on in number 10, and he didn't know about them. He must have been upstairs trying for more babies.
I wonder if the women here have a patronising term that they can use to address men. What do you think, Sandra love?
Strangely, I don't think that women have come up with such a patronising term - probably can't be bothered, bless 'em! TTT knows how to shut 'em up, though. But, bless him, he doesn't realise what a patronising person he is.
Sandra @21.23-----Boris might not have known what was going on in the rest of Downing Street. There are about 100 rooms in that building.
