It's planned to coincide with the service of thanksgiving at St Paul's - the one thing the queen has said she really would like to attend. Thousands will want to go to line the route and give the queen - and their flags - a wave.

Clearly you dont. Euston is a terminus so people need to catch a tube. Walking is a bit far for many. Its not just the station to get to that has be open, the one to board needs to be open.

This is hardly a surprise. The Unions see a weakness in Johnson so are flexing their muscles.

Won't most people attending cab it there (or near to it) or stay in local hotels ?
Can't see many travelling on the tube in all their finery!

RH, most people who go won't be attending the service. They'll be going to watch the procession pass by - and for that they don't go in their finery. There will be thousands lining the route - as there always is for big royal events.

And they will be able to use other stations and buses to get there.
2 stations closed or on reduced service is not going to snarl up the whole thing.
