Whilst it’s a huge help , how will ‘they establish ’ who’s poor and who’s not for the extra £650 as well as the £400 per household?
Would that be for those on benefits?

Seen a bit that I'd not heard mentioned in Parliament.
"Claimants must be in receipt of, or have begun an eventually successful claim for, one of these benefits as of 25th May 2022 to be eligible for this additional payment."
The "begun" is not exactly clear. Does that mean the date the claim was signed by the claimant, posted or received?
I would think it would be the date received since that is a definite date but it could have been worded better.
Also, the help from DWP is being given in two stages so I don't know if there will be a later date to be eligible for the second payment or no.
