Yeah but May was mucking up by capitulating to the EU, she had to go. Boris merely was present at something which certain folk considered allowed under the law and others didn't. Hardly a reason to get him out.

They are doing to Boris, exactly what Boris did to May.
Theresa May won her VONC in December 2018.
In April 2019 there were moves to have another one.
// Theresa May faces another vote of no confidence from within the Conservative party in an attempt to oust her over her handling of Brexit. //

She resigned shortly after.
Crocodile tears crying about having a second VONC when you used the same tactic to depose May.

//Well, in fairness, Fatticusinch did want a Vote of Confidence - or more preferably No Confidence ... but now that hasn't worked he's moved on to bigger ideas. Crikey! When he gets the bit between his teeth there's no holding him! :o)//
Lol, but it HAS worked. His party are telling him as much and the 1922 Committee are changing their own rules in panic, they’ve seen the damage and split Johnson has caused and they are moving their own goalposts to rid themselves of him.
Do you actually take any notice of current events and their relevance?
Or is your devotion to King Canute of the Conservatives so skewed that you refuse to believe actual events?

You were all in favour of these Poltroons after May won her VONC.
// The BBC reported that more than 70 bosses of local Conservative associations have signed a petition calling for an extraordinary general meeting, with Mrs May’s position at the top of the agenda.
More than 800 of the party’s most senior members, including the heads of the local associations, will take part in the vote.
If more than 65 local Conservative associations demand one via a petition, then an extraordinary general meeting has to be called.
The Sunday Times reported that Mrs May will be told within days that she must step down by the end of June or face a fresh effort by MPs to oust her. //

//Haha! If it's worked, fatticusinch, you don't sound too happy about it.//
Lol, I’m gleeful. It’s the end of Johnson, everyone bar you and ToraToraTora knows it. I’m just pointing out the inevitable to you, you can’t accept it because of your blind devotion to Johnson.
It’s now a matter of weeks not months.

Gromit: "You were gleeful when May was ousted despite her winning a VONC. Now that others are attempting to do the sam to Johnson, you are outraged. " - Yes, May, I considered a good Conservative mostly but she was a 5Cer and to me Sovereignty is the no 1 issue, she was about to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, so she became the enemy so yes I was delighted when she was replaced. That's not double standards I was supporting my country and my party against the treacherous. I am doing that now. We are all partisan are we not? I know you are. I don't want another 5th Columnist in no 10 to undo all the good work that the current government has done.
