Gromit, //Classic victim blaming and deeply wrong.//
A trendy expression which only works if the alleged 'victims are actually' 'victims'.
//I must object//
Object away, but whilst you're at it perhaps you'll tell us your experiences, as a woman, of being sexually abused. With the possibility of a repeat performance, did you voluntarily return again and again to the company of the abuser?
FatticusInch, I too am always perplexed and deeply puzzled - but by the mindset that expects women to support women regardless of right or wrong. Perhaps what you’re experiencing is, indeed, a male thing.
Both these women knowingly inhabited a world of wealth, excess, indulgence and depravity. Had Guiffre carried out her pledge to have her day in court, saying she was not in it for the money, I’d have been more likely to take her claims seriously - but she didn't. The dollars took precedence. The woman now accusing her was in her early 20s at the time, so not a child, and such was her claimed mortification and discomfort that she continued to return to the scene of the 'crime'. More dollar signs in prospect I suspect.
