Why are the illegals so against getting a clean bed, food etc albeit in another country , furthermore ,will it deter more crossings?

Probably work out cheaper in the long run,geezer,than this crazy Rwanda scheme.Sounds good in theory,but in practice it is a no-go.We send them healthy migrants,they send us back unhealthy migrants.Another of the Tories wackier schemes which will eventually be stopped when the UK runs out of hospital space for all the unhealthy Africans we get back from Rwanda.

As a civilised nation we absolutely should accept genuine asylum seekers - it would be unconscionable not to.

'fraid I disagree, dd. We have no room. Housing, health, education and everything else are all on the edge here. As it is, hundreds of thousands of people are being admitted to this country legally every year. That needs to be curtailed too. We simply do not have the facilities. Apart from that, those arriving from France are not genuine asylum seekers. They come from a safe EU country and are not fleeing danger or persecution.

There is no point devising plans to "dissuade" migrants from coming here. Nothing will. They need to be physically prevented from landing.

im flabbergasted as to who wants them to say here with more arriving daily, as nj has said about public services housing etc, they must have vested interests ie financial, or they are just deluded about public opinion and the reality of our infrastructure coping, like fill it to the rafters till the pip squeaks, altruism as long as someone else pays err we all pay and not just financially.

I thought Brexit was supposed to stop all these people coming across?As far as i can see it has exarcebated the problem.A few hundred before Brexit.Thousands after Brexit.I think you Brexiteers have been conned.
