Not that he has resigned – but that Boris actually had such an advisor; what the hell has he been advising Boris for the last 5 years?

Whoever it was advising him, he has had some notable achievements; 80 majority in parliament, Brexit, leading Europe in obtaining covid vaccines, immediate aid to Ukraine while the EU was faffing about.

But then on the negative side, there was his birthday cake.

^Got to agree. That was very funny, Khandro. It certainly puts all the manufactured nonsense into perspective. :o)
Ok naomi24, for the hard of understanding we’ll break it down.

80 majority, but 148 of his own MP’s want rid of him, in percentage terms on the vote he had the worst result, even more than May and Thatcher.

Brexit has turned into a nightmare, the ‘oven ready deal’ has turned out to be a lukewarm, sad ding-ding microwave dinner for one.
Claims on the vaccine rollout are hotly disputed and we’ll overlook the money wasted on track and trace, written off in fraud etc.
Immediate aid to Ukraine? Johnson admitted in a speech that everyone was too slow to react, including the UK, then the response to taking in refugees was utterly shameful, we took a handful in comparison.

Birthday cake? I think Sue Gray confirmed it was a bit more to it than that. So much do that he’s now being investigated for misleading parliament, not to mention lying to the Queen as his staff got wasted whilst breaking the rules we all adhered to as best as possible.
Let’s move on to the resignations over that fiasco, a lot of people went prior to the report for obvious reasons.
Well, everyone except the ringmaster.
Then there’s all the others who, in light of the PM being investigated and changing the ministerial code have decided enough is enough.
2 ethics advisers, an anti corruption tsar and lots of advisers.
We’ve got the Savile/Starmer slur which meant his closest confidante of 10 years felt she had to resign over, Rishi Rich and his non-dom wife on the fiddle, a Home Secretary clearly out of her depth in a car park puddle and a plethora of cabinet ministers prepared to defend the indefensible, a cost of living crisis, a fuel crisis, energy crisis and inflation at eye-watering figures.

Any other notable achievements? Lol
More waffle - and doubtless repetitive. :o)
Fatti; My post above (10:02) contains hard, irrefutable FACTS, yours contains your own interpretations which you are entitled to even though they maybe somewhat warped (if not infantile).
I've stopped reading most of what he writes, Khandro, Load of repetitive waffle.
Oh blow! I've repeated myself. It must be catching. ;o)
10:02, bang on, should get BA but I doubt leading 5C light hymie would give it.
Fatti, 10:38, how is life on the Tory back benches these days?
khandro: "Fatti; My post above (10:02) contains hard, irrefutable FACTS, yours contains your own interpretations which you are entitled to even though they maybe somewhat warped (if not infantile). " - what a lefty spinning! Nooo!
Another great factual post at 10.38 that some can't digest. This government is melting away quicker than Antarctica. :)
Lol, the Borstriches don’t deal in facts Sandra, that’s why they can’t address the issue of Tory resignations at an alarming rate.
Even Number 10 don’t want to publish Lord Geidt’s resignation letter atm, I daresay it’s pretty damning and fairly explosive.
Why would they be reluctant to do that?
More home truths for Johnson that will catch him out for the liar he is?
Maybe it’ll contain an explanation as to why he blocked Geidt from investigating him?
Would the Borstriches care to explain if elaborate?
Not a chance, lol.
^^^ :)
Take heart, fatticusinch. At least someone is reading your posts and taking them seriously. ;o)
No 10 is to publish the letter.

Lol, still dodging the questions whilst remaining on the periphery? Bless you, keep it up.
Unless of course you’d like to address the issues raised?
Lord Geidt has several in his resignation letter for you to ponder, do give us your considered opinion!

They do seem to don't they, Ich.... so......Dave and five friends attending a ceremony. I'm not so we arrange to meet outside the pub. I'm early. Ceremony lasts a little longer so they are late.
I sit on the bench on the green taking bird photos, noodling on AB, WhatsApp and looking at some news.
They above news tickles me....nothing new there. Company arrives and as we walk across to the pub I mention the above which leads to the usual banter and laughter that Boris Johnson delights us with. Okay?

You're on the ball there, Naomi. No, he's not my leader. I didn't say he was.
Phew! That's a relief. I thought for one awful moment I'd misread you in the past, gness.
You, Naomi? Misread anything? Never! :-)
