fair enough just saying they don;t own the North Sea and even if they get the rigs Nicola has already promised to end oil/gas production to please her green bed fellows and the Eco mafia generally.

a person in Scotland gets 110% of the resources someone in the rest of the UK gets. That is not disputed.
I think the point is that insufficient tax will be being collected in Scotland to be able to fund the present freebees.

As for NS oil, beware certain islands opting to be independent from Scotland. Surely it's likely to be designated mostly theirs were that to occur, wouldn't it ? They may decide the two can play at that game.
