Me sweat over politics, fatticusinch? Certainly not. I leave the panicking and hysterics to you and your buddies. :o)

If you say so. You sound worried at the prospect of a by-election though?
But it’s ok because you doubt it’ll happen.
We’ll see.
Your continued blind faith to Johnson is amusing as ever though.

Maybe dropping the schoolboy humour and going with 'predatory drunken homosexual' would harden opinions.

I'm a fan of schoolboy humour btw, but not schoolboys.

Anyway, I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for all the shenanigans.
Hear hear, Douglas.
This, coming on the back of previous victims has left him in a sticky situation.
The words 'nominative' and 'determinism' spring to mind.

What was that you were saying about another by-election, Naomi?

Are you sure you have a grasp of politics?

Lol.
Fatticusinch, As far as I’m aware, unless an MP dies or relinquishes his seat there is no by-election. Corbyn was elected on a Labour ticket and because of all his problems now sits as an independent. I think I have a bit of a grasp of politics. The question is do you? Perhaps not. Or perhaps you’re just getting over-excited again.
PS. I should have added ‘convicted criminal’. If his victims press charges and he’s found guilty - which by his own admission he is - there will by a by-election. Happy days. :o)
there is a process under the Recall of MPs Act 2015 where a recall petition could be triggered, if one of a specific set of qualifying circumstances is reached. being investigated by the sleaze watchdog wouldn't of itself trigger the process unless the matter was subsequently referred to the Committee on Standards. after that the petition would only be successful if signed by 10% of the electorate. that threshold is by no means certain to be reached - for all his faults, Mr Pincher has been a very good constituency MP.
It's interesting to compare and contrast the treatments of Chris Pincher for his behaviour, and Neil Parish for his - wholly inconsistent treatments, for some reason ...
He resigned.
Actually, I think Pincher will too.
The treatment came before the resignation.

Ah, so you’ve not read the link Naomi.
I surmised as much.
Standard.
Looking at the state of the liblabcon, one can only wonder how many MPs Ukip would have today if they'd stuck at it.
(first person to say 1, report this minute to the Ed)
The danger is, in these modern times, you don't even need a formal Lib-Lab pact. Websites and apps like https://tacticalvote.co.uk/ put the tactical voting power in the hands of the electorate - those that know such tools exist, anyway ...

Not fair? No, probably not. But in a FPTP system with one main right of centre party up against two main left of centre parties that split each other's vote, what is fair?

Interesting week ahead. Regardless of the ‘help’ he’s receiving it may be deemed that he avoid parliament altogether in order to get that help.
Either way, I reckon party and public opinion will be against him, especially in light of his previous indiscretion in 2017.
they have intimacy co-ordinators on film sets these days so if there are sex scenes there's some assurance that actors, especially female ones, won't be coerced into doing things they're unhappy with and haven't agreed to.

Perhaps Parliament should set up a similar position so that MPs can be dissuaded from over-amorous behaviour (and stealing, taking drugs and so forth).
