Sunak

Extraordinary that some Tories are supporting Sunak as Tory leader. Does anyone remotely sensible believe that British voters will support a multi-millionaire. There is, of course, nothing wrong with being a multi-millionaire but it just won't wash with voters. His supporters must be completely out of touch. That he is actually standing shows he's not fit for the job.

Labour (who, one might assume, probably don't like to thought of as a party of the rich) seem to think that their leader, who's wealth is estimated at £7.7m, would make a good PM. Many Labour supporters might see him as a worthy successor to Tony Blair, whose wealth is estimated at £45.4m.
So perhaps not everyone agrees with Paigntonian's view that the British public don't want to see a wealthy PM?

Inexorably linked with Johnson, will be too busy fending off references to such and perpetually asked why he never stood up to him and why it took him so long to act. Part of a tainted government and cabinet, let him take his Green card to the States and do the circuit.

Being an ex Prime Minister of the UK seems to be a saleable asset on the world talking circuit. Blair, Brown and Cameron have all done very well since leaving office.
Somehow I doubt there will be many takers for Boris’ style of bumbling, mumbling, scatter gun oratory. He might make in the region of £57.49p.
