Angela Rayner says "We will call for the NCV if the Conservatives don't get their act together and get rid of Boris, He is a proven liar who's engulfed in sleaze and we can't have another couple of months of him.So they have to get rid of him now." ,,,," It looks pretty clear he hasn't got the confidence of The House or the British Public" .
At the moment there is no timeline on when Boris will leave office.
.......Well said Angela get rid of the Tory G O A S.....

This will actually be a good test. They’ll need the Conservatives onside to win a vote, so if his own party don’t get the squatter removed from Number 10 asap it’ll show the electorate just exactly the mindset they’re dealing with and the next Tory leader will have an even more difficult task in convincing voters to go with them.
The longer the squatter stays, the more credibility they lose.
Last chance for the Tory party to show some semblance of credibility.
good luck with that the Tories have a large majority. Silly moo. They may be split annoyed etc but they ain't suicidal.
Is this a wise move? The Tories might circle the wagons in response to an attack.
stop whining they are going through the process as quick as possible. All former resigning PMs have stayed until a new leader is chosen this will be no different. I don't understand why normally rational people are having such a hissy fit. This is how it works.
even if they win a VONC that wont get Boris out any quicker. There is due process to go through.

Get rid of this Tory G-O-A -S Con-man now.
Every minute that Johnson squats in Number 10 loses his party more credibility and authority.
It’s ebbing away at a rapid rate, the men in grey suits need to pop along to Number 10 over the weekend and change the locks whilst he’s in Chequers.
there is no way for him to go fatti, we are going through the process as quick as possible. Why are you too thick to understand that. Please tell me how this could be done any quicker. I'm all ears.

Perhaps the Tory's want to keep Boris as long as possible to give them time to save for his severance pay That magic tax payers money tree must be bare by now the way Boris has looked after his Cronies.
He could resign as PM and Tories appoint caretaker?
"You must stay at home"
Boris.You must leave home. :0)
"He could resign as PM and Tories appoint caretaker?" - that would be the same process as they are doing now.
" Please tell me how this could be done any quicker. I'm all ears. "

deputy PM role exists to supply a substitute short-term PM... difficult to see what else it is for..

Dominic Raab should be the caretaker for a few months until the party has chosen a new leader...

10.26 "We" "are going through the process as quick as possible" ......(who are We) ? did you dream you were an MP last night TTT, in your state of Granduer.
labour would look a bit odd if they did not do this. Doubt anything will come of it...
Dominc Raab reportedly does not intend to stand as Tory leader, so as deputy PM could step in immediately as caretaker?
The so called Deputy PM (not really a role) is only intended for short term(ie 2 week holiday) or for the junior partner in a coalition.

Johnson is going, let him be and let the process work its magic.

A vote of no confidence is pointless when the Government has a majority of 80. Generally turkeys do not vote for Christmas and all would be acutely aware that you dont kick a man when he is down.
untitled: "deputy PM role exists to supply a substitute short-term PM... difficult to see what else it is for.. " - nope, he can stand in but he's not the automatic successor. That is in effect the deputy leader of the party. Now as I have explained about 12 times. If Either of those two were to become the actual prime minister then they would need to be invited to form a government by HM. Never happened, every other resigning PM has stayed until the new one is chosen. I just cannot fathom the nasty vitriol that makes this one any different, it'll be sorted in a fortnight, be patient.
"there is no way for him to go fatti, we are going through the process as quick as possible. Why are you too thick to understand that. Please tell me how this could be done any quicker. I'm all ears."

Please explain, oh wise one, why Johnson cannot resign as PM and Dominic Raab cannot be the caretaker PM until a new Tory leader is chosen.
Why should he just to appease a bunch of lefties?

He is only following the traditional path.
