Labourites have complained forever about the way he did the job and last week his own stabbed him in the back - and now they're all complaining that he's not around. Bet he's having a chuckle. :o)

since he wants to be running the country, it would be nice if he actually turned up to do so. He really just wants the power without the workload.

jno, have you seen the news in the last fortnight? He was pushed out last week. You can't have it both ways.
Ooh look, he's playing dressy-uppy again. Bless.
jno, //since he wants to be running the country, it would be nice if he actually turned up to do so. //

But you didn't want him running the country so now you think he isn't, you should be happy - but you're not. You're complaining. Make your mind up.
// You can't have it both ways.//

no - - - HE can't have it both ways.
The Tory party has made Boris step down but kept him in post until they've found a successor. There seems to be nothing that anybody else can do about that, we all just have to accept it. So he is the leader and the PM for now. So perhaps he should do some leading and ministering ...
Why the problem on the 'COBRA' (which is only a room name anyway).

He doesnt need to be there it's only an ass covering exercise.
//no - - - HE can't have it both ways. //

But he is ...so what are you going to do? Sack him? :o)
You're complaining. Make your mind up.
why ?
you don't !
I presume he's still being paid to be PM? Wouldn't that suggest he works out his notice?
the news I read says he hasn't been pushed out yet, he's still here. So he should be at Cobra meetings and earning his keep. When he actually does go, someone else can take over the duties.

have a day off jno.
by the time they've finished squabbling a chill will have set in . . .
^
Did you mean to type, "He's having a day off, jno." ?
Labourites have complained forever about the way he did the job and last week his own stabbed him in the back - and now they're all complaining that he's not around. Bet he's having a chuckle. :o)

At our expense (as usual)
Let's see how many die in this heatwave, quite possibly in the back of a boiling ambulance while waiting to be checked in to a hospital, before we laugh too hard ...
I'm sure he is having a chuckle as he parties. He's done nothing but chuckle since being given a position far beyond his capabilities.
The whole shambles they've created between them is at the country's expense, drmorgans.
