I think it is you who has missed the point. Fatticus has attributed your comments to me, and I stand by my observation that while there is certainly a time and place for acknowledging Johnson's plus points, that debate was hardly it. I am still baffled as to why it took place at all: I suspect an attempt to rally Tory MPs. So they are at least as guilty as Labour of mischief.
