where do these sub ( Eagle or Bunty) questions come from
and by god they keep coming!
tomorrow importantly, mars bars or crisps
During my more impecunious days (when I've had to find something cheap to eat while doing casual work in a strange towns), I've eaten a good many of those cheeseburgers at 99p.

To be honest though, I reckon that they're still incredibly good value at £1.19, so the next time I'm shopping in my local Asda (which shares its car park with McDonald's), I think that I might be tempted once again!
My masseuses, Ludmilla and Ivanka, have upped their prices by a whopping 25%.
Where can one turn for relief from these rocketing costs?
this is aside from 14 years of shrinkflation......

I feel sure that if you ask Ludmilla and Ivanka for 'relief', Sandy, they'll happily oblige you ;-)
Nice to see my subtle jokes are not so subtle as to pass totally undetected.
:-)
^^^ With feed lines like that, you can be my stooge in a stage double-act whenever you like, Sandy ;-)
Today in Morrison's I overheard a lady saying "These crisps have gone up to...(whatever)." She didn't buy them.

There was also another older lady who was carefully checking 'Use by' dates on tins of pate etc.. She said to her friend "I'm starting to get organised for Christmas now, goodness knows what it'll cost then."
All very sensible and I shall be doing the same.

With all deference, Buen, you can make your own burgers better and cheaper - but I do understand that you were in a situation where you didn't have that possibility and others will be the same. It's still not dear for a meal.
Gone up 20p, is that all?
In May I bought some Lancashire Cheese for £2 a packet at ASdA. Went back yesterday and it was £3.!
Everything is going up by stupid amounts.
ah, that would be because Lancashire remained in the EU. Import duties and so on.
