Alot of these articles are linking this to rising gas and electric bills but surely BP is in oil so its really about why petrol prices are so high.

They will pay windfall tax on there uk profits so inaway its good news for the tax payers...so am not sure what extra taxes fatticusis thinking of??

BP deals in and produces oil AND gas.
Do try and keep up, you’re generally not too savvy on these types of threads anyway.
