Police arrested the man suspected of pensioner stabbing. I wonder if it was the cctv capturing his face full on, or did someone recognise him.

The cctv was very clear so hopefully he's the one. If not he was definitely carrying a knife so they'd get him for that. I wondered how long it would be before race came into it.

Would it be useful if ethnicity & residence status of folks charged for these sort of high profile offences were disclosed? I don't know what it would show but it would be nice (?) to know.
