Her father is continuously referred to as a "philosopher" though his philosophy seems to be one of hate & division, she seems to have been a keen follower of her father's philosophy.

Still, no one should be killed for their views.

Goodness knows who was responsible for this.
There's a striking picture of Dugin at the scene, holding his head in disbelief.
While obviously not condoning such a terrible act, it's hard to feel a lot of sympathy for someone who calls for the murder of innocent people himself.

Millions of Russians have blood relatives in Ukraine, & many of them will have found out that they have been murdered and raped.

The Russian people have a history of long periods suppression each followed by violent upsurges, perhaps the kick-back starts?

I have really no idea but I’d be a little surprised if this if Ivan Bloggs wreaking revenge on Dugin for the murder of his relatives.
One of the shocking things about this war has been the revelation of just what different people Russians and Ukrainians are. “They won’t want to shoot their Slavic brothers” we all thought.

It could be more effective to kill the daughter rather than the man himself. If you kill him he doesn't know he's dead; kill his daughter and it makes him aware of the hate and he might try to persuade Putin to give up.

It’s people like Dugin who inspire Putin.
If you think this is Putin’s war, think again.
I’d still be inclined to think this assassination is nothing to do with Ukraine and certainly nothing to do with Ukrainian agents.
