I know very little about Prostate Cancer but I thought it was a cancer that could be controlled?

Redhelen...you are correct it can be "controlled" but in my opinion it is the luck of the draw as to the outcome of this disease.

By the time it was diagnosed he was already stage 4. Always sad to hear such news though and he did seem well revered by his colleagues. R.I.P.

I must add that because he spoke publicly of his condition many more men went for checks and Bill saw this as one good accomplishment in his life.
