Poll results are meaningless without knowing what question(s) were asked! And have often proved to be wrong (cf. pre- EU referendum polls). Cocked that one up didn't they.

The Tories have been behind in the polls since Christmas, which is why the party rejected the leader. The Conservatives themselves believe them, so why shouldn’t everyone else?
