Now the Queen has Passed on. Former British Colonies want their Jewels back. South Africa want their "Great star of Africa" to be returned which is now the centre piece of the Queens sceptre, and also demanding the
"return of all the gold diamonds stolen by Britain" ..... India once know as "The Jewel in the Crown of the British Empire" is now calling for its jewel in the crown, know as the (Koh-i-noor) to be handed back even though it is sitting on top of The Queen mothers crown . Will King Charles allow it ???

You’re late on parade, canary. You’ve missed a few.
In the light of the link to the eds blog......

I have reported this as "goading", like most of Gulliver's posts.

.....Just for TTT.
I suppose they have as much chance of getting their jewels back as the Tax payer getting Boris's gold wallpaper back from No 10.. PMSL
gully........no....".it is not even the beginning of the end, but it may be the end of the beginning."

I have been sitting here thinking how clever that quote is and how often I have got it wrong. Was it written for Churchill, or did he think of it or did he enunciate naturally during his speech?

Squad @ 14.27, Think thats what Boris was thinking when he became PM.... LOL.
Gully, there, there, it’s alright. The big nasty man has gone now so you can stop fretting over him.

Naomi @ 14.54" He was not a big nasty man "
He was a big nasty Idiot.
Not again, yawn. The man wasn't an idiot - he got a 2-1 in Classics from Baliol at Oxford, diappointingly so to him apparently...as he had been to Eton as a scholar. He was also President of the Union.

He may have been at times crass, outspoken and made some bad judgements but an idiot he was/is not. He also writes incredibly well - and, Gulliver, I am talking how he writes not content. He's up there with Henry Kissinger and if you haven't read the book, 'Diplomacy', I commend it to you - it's a joy to read and explains a lot of Britain's attitude to Europe, based around historical events and facts.
Obviously a fan DT. You forgot to mention he tell lies though .

Dtc "The man wasn't an idiot"
He was a cretin, dolt. imbecile, dullard. all rolled into one, should never ever be an PM or an MP The only person he cares about is himself. What was the 2-1 for ? .......(Lying no doubt)

//Vulcan and Gromit @ 13.35 just for you ......"Commonwealth"
or "Commonwealth of Nations"//

Perhaps you'd like to tell us which of the two you'd like us to comment on (if you know the difference, that is).
BJ definitely not a dullard.

Do you actually know what the word means?
Not particularly, anne, one way or the other.....I could have used a plethora of adjectives on either side of the argument. Colourful is one that could feature in both lists....

Which events “over the weekend” was Ed referring to?
sp1814
there was a mass cyber brawl amongst the 'ladies'.
Why is this site allowing this inimical, downright distasteful, and peevish poster to carry on with his antaganostic outflows. Particularly during this particular time? He is dragging the site down to his own debase level.
It might all end up in cash converter's the state that Boris left us in.
Togo, my theory is that his generates a lot of posts that they can ill afford to lose and is therefore tolerated
Would anyone like to explain what's so wrong with the OP.
