The British have attacked many Muslim countries in recent wars the last 20 years, and killed many muslim civilians. So we become a target for retribution.
We have not fought wars in any muslim countries, so they see no reason to launch terrorist attacks against us.

Sadly, Indian Hindus have attacked non Hindus in India and neighbouring countries.
Ask the citizens in Islamabad if they regard their neighbour as benign and friendly.
