I care, mozz. I don’t know of any country that erects statues to people who’ve fought against it or that constantly denigrates itself. We do seem determined to self-flagellate.
Just loved the part when Thatchers statue was being unloaded of the lorry and being lowered onto the plinth with a rope around its neck.
Sounds like he had a similar effect on Malawi to Gandhi's on India, including standing up to the British. I'm sure there are plenty of statues of Gandhi in the UK.

Personally, I could do without statues of anybody being erected, but by the same measure, I can't get flustered over what I see to be such a trivial matter.
