This awful woman has not tainted Sir Tom's memory, just brought a lot of hatred on herself.

Equally, people have not reacted kindly to the family's behaviour re the charity. Sadly, some readers seem to think the family have embezzled the monies he raised from his walking marathon, but the NHS got every penny of that and is totally separate from the charity set up in his name. Any anger is directed at the family, not Sir Tom.
