Anyone interested can watch it now on IV Hub. The whole three series. After reading this thread I shall start tomorrow. https://www.itv.com/hub/cracker/1a1918

It wasn’t my thing either, lottie … until someone nagged me to read the books. The whole of humankind is there - it’s wisdom and it’s failings.

He did far greater things than acting in an over egged child’s film.
Oh Red, Alan Rickman. Loved him. He absolutely made Robin Hood one of the best films ever! Amazing.

I think those headlines would be most appropriate, AH. I, and doubtless many others, have never seen Cracker - but the whole world knows Hagrid. //

I wouldn't argue.

But I bet if Mr Coltrane was asked which of the two roles he was more proud of as an actor, and would want to stand as his legacy, it wouldn't be Hagrid!!
You won't convince me Naomi. I don't do fantasy in any shape size or form. (Except for Paddington!)
Aww that is sad. Cracker was one of the best series of its time, used to love it. RIP Robbie.
Panhandle! :)
Very sad news, he was a fine actor & a funny man.

RIP Robbie.
Anyone who loves his jazz hero enough to take his name, gets my vote!
You can bet, AH, but sadly we’ll never know - and actually it doesn’t matter. A great career and a highly respected actor.

Of course we won't know, I am merely putting forward my view - as usual.
I liked him in a lot of the works he did, I remember not only as a comedy actor but the serious things he did like Cracker.

R.I.P Robbie Coltrane

I don't think he was in the books of Harry potter
Fatticus - // Andy Hughes,
I’m obliged, thank you. //

You are most welcome.
Cracker was excellent. He also played a tv personality and was accused I think of sexual abuse ( I think) , that was an excellent programme .
^ I remember that, it was very good.
Shirley, do you recall what is was called ?
He also had a lovely voice .
Nationl Treasure, anne, with Julie Walters
National Treasure.
Thank you . Maybe one of his best performances, was Tutti Fruiti
R I P Robbie I loved Cracker.
