...well at least she's had a go at one of the famous 10 but if she thinks the EUSSR will let her in without joining the EURO she's been sniffing some very odd thistles!

RH, I agree but he is a lost cause.
//if she thinks the EUSSR will let her in without joining the EURO//

I question whether or not the EU would have Scotland anyway - but he does have a point.

naomi: "I question whether or not the EU would have Scotland anyway - but he does have a point. " - I think they'll probably twist their rules around and let them in but the conditions will be so harsh that they'll look fondly on their membership of the UK.
I really don't care whether they stay or go, TTT, but I think the woman harbours delusions of grandeur.
I think that the SNP are obsessed with breaking up the union. She doesn't speak for all Scots.
Couldn't agree more Naomi. I couldn't give a monkeys what the Scots do. And when they're gone, I care even less about what Sturgeon does.

Truss has trumped her on that one! At least Sturgeon will still be in post next week.
If only the Tory Party had ignored Truss and listened to Sunak when he questioned her fiscal ideas, eh?

mozz/naomi - I do care about the damage they'll end up doing by trying to extricate themselves. The NI border fiasco is bad enough multiply that by a thousand for when the EUSSR force the Scots to have one. Then there is the inevitable exodus south of the border when they realise that their tax will have to go through the roof and then we'll have to prop up the whole thing again.
TTT. I doubt very much it will happen. The Scots (well most of them) are too canny for that.
If Sturgeon fails to win another indyref would that be her demise?

If so, I’m sure many Scots would say ‘bring it on’.
From the link:
"Ms Sturgeon told a news conference that it was "nonsense" to suggest people north of the border would need a passport to travel to England"

Eh, what planet is she living on?
As I have said before, Nicola is in it for the long haul. She has already seen of:
Cameron - gone
May - gone
Johnson - gone
Truss - her jaiket's on a shoogly peg

The EU have said they would welcome Scotland and I for one can't wait.
Oooh ayyyy, she’s really seen ‘em off hasn’t she. All on her own too!
I cant wait either.

The sooner they are gone the sooner I dont have to see that womans face and hear her whining voice.

And the sooner we stop having to send cash north of the border.

But there will have to be passports and border control whatever the woman says, the EU will insist on it.
Some of you require a tv with an OFF button . They work !!!

maggie: "The EU have said they would welcome Scotland and I for one can't wait. " - perhaps you'd like to have a try at the famous 10: https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/News/Question1750978.html
I will be first in the line to get my Scottish Passport
Maggie, ask Nicola how she would survive the hiatus following independence when Scotland would not yet be a member of the EU, but also would not benefit from the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement.

You may well have some thoughts on the subject yourself.
I dont watch TV Anne, I dont have a licence.

The problem is it is everywhere else, like here, papers and radio.
