Dartford Protesters

With the protesters causing traffic problems by scaling the Dartford bridge, I can't help wondering why the authorities don't just ignore them and let the traffic flow freely.
At most close off lane 1 in case one of the silly plonkers falls off.

If it was up to me I would get a fire engine to aim hoses at them. Tell them if they don't get down the hoses will be turned on.

UK is the worlds no2 climate change responder. I'd have slightly more than zero understanding if they went and protested where their activities could possibly induce any changes that would make the slightest difference. India, China, USA etc

As much as I wish they could, they can’t ignore them. Imagine would happen if they came to grief.

Those who glue themselves to the road really should be left there though. 24 hours should do it.
