Tora, could you not refer to Gulliver as "the nasty left". I'd imagine that most lefties, myself included, find his ramblings embarrassing and realise he does more harm to the left on AB than a hundred Thatcherites could.

What would you suggest mozz? This is a serious post about a serious subject. Lefties like canary and gulliver are using it to attack me and also to push their political agenda. "nasty left" is, I think a fitting label. It does not label all the left as nasty only those that the cap fits.

Maybe it's time we followed the U.S. in electing senior law officers. Can see all the pitfalls but this white, public school, privileged elite is simply unfit for purpose.
