I like the girl and think she is great .She is not allowed to express an opinion of her own .Do we want robots reading the news .Hope she had the football results to announce sometime and says Come on you Spurs a great win .When England mens team were in with a chance of winning something the news casters rightly were enthustic to see the team win .When the girls won the were delighted to bring the news to the people .More expressions of how they feel about news the better.
Weecalf: No, she should not be allowed to add her own opinion as "news", at least not in her position at BBC. There are plenty of venues where it is not only permissible to express personal opinions, but many venues that depend on people doing so. It's hard enough for the average person to find just the news reported.
