Brexit .
The latest opinion poll shows 57% of Brits would now vote to rejoin the EU if a second referendum was called . The shift in opinion is down to the economic consequences of Brexit and the present cost of living situation. The poll suggests the trend will continue, to rejoin the E.U.
And a second referendum has not been ruled out.

hymie: "If I post a link from a reputable organisation showing that Brexit has directly resulted in a 5% loss to the UK economy – how many of you Brexiteers will admit that you were wrong, and join the re-join campaign (none, I suspect)? " - you can't because it does not exist. You may find a site that says anything you like but taken in isolation it's meaningless. The whole of the western world is having problems and brexit is irrelevant.
What is more satisfying is that, knowing that while there was almost bound to be a temporary dip in the UK economy, especially while some quarters are deliberately acting against UK interests – Brexiteers intelligently realise that Brexit was the right decision for the UK.
It's fairly obvious change, even for the better, causes some disruption, and recent world events make things difficult for all. Trying to imply there's been any kind of permanent damage to the economy is at the very least disingenuous, and can be legitimately seen as pure propaganda.
Harping on about reports of present issues, and trying to blame exiting the EU on them, sounds like desperation from those who refuse to accept they were wrong regarding their nation regaining control of themselves. Something that is vital for every sovereign nation.
If they don't wish to live in a sovereign nation my advice is to move to an EU country, and stay there happily being ordered about by some unelected elite, and opting not to try to run down nations that have more sense than the nation they eventually choose to live in.

If you want to know how bad Brexit is going, watch this BBC video which quotes information from the OBR and ONS amongst others.
I don’t remember any Brexiteers announcing that there would be a dip in trade on leaving the EU, or for that matter telling us when this dip is going to end.
In the BBC video, covid and other world effects on economies are removed from the analysis to show Brexit effects only.
Those who believe Brexit will result in jam tomorrow are sadly deluded, making excuses for this fiasco – the sooner the general public are told this, and realise the truth and hopefully one day we will re-join the EU.

Does that include the Labour party Hymie as there not pressing for redjoining either ... the data from ONS is informative, but them conclusions are just opinion, but there's lots of factors. Am not sure what you thing your regular postings of the same thing is going to achieve.... as rejoining on reasonable terms just cant happen for many years
