His "protege" Dr Oz soundly beaten in Pennsylvania, his arch rival DeSantis cruising to victory in Florida, now trashed on Fox News.
Most importantly (so far at least), a peaceful election free of the most dire predictions of the doom mongers.
Has the Repiblican Party (and the US) woken up?

Answer to your last sentence, sadly I think not yet. Election denying seems to be an established tactic now, and the results aren't finalised for some time.

Plenty of time for people to cause trouble if things don't go their way. We'll see.

I must say that although Ron DeSantis is not my cup of tea politically, to say the least, if you offered me the choice of him or Trump for the next POTUS I’d bite your hand off for the former.
There’s just so much that’s wrong about the Trumpster.

DeSantis is apparently a smarter and less insane version of Trump. If I were an American far right winger he'd be my choice for 2024.

Having said that if I were an American far right winger I wouldn't be doing much that was sensible, so I'd probably stick with Trump.
