Rishi Sunak has confirmed he will offer thousands of young Indians the right to live and work in Britain as he prepares to meet the country's
PM Narendra Modi at the G20 Summit. This scheme will start next year starting with allowing 3,000 young Indians into Britain between the age of 18 and 30 .
well, that's control. I suspect it will make no difference to the number of young Indians who arrive, but at least each one of them will get little Rishi Approved stamps on the back of their hands.

There is a labour shortage in the UK .
A bag of sweets for the first Aber who comes up with the Answer to what caused this , and the clue is a 6 letter word beginnig with .."B".
I would very much doubt we have 100% of those of employable age and able to work being in employment. And if we don't then there is no shortage of labour that has to be addressed by inviting others to come here.
Allowing others in probably bears giving the public a genuine explanation; what tit for tat agreement was reached ?

I understand your sentiment.
However if those that arrive here already have certain skill sets, does this not benefit the UK in that, lengthy terms (years) of training and associated costs are avoided?
Naomi @ 10.45.These immigrants are not coming by boat they will be flown in and no doubt the tax payer will pick up the bill. Is this the start of the new .
