If you go back to the OP, to me it was as much about the "biased, leftie etc etc BBC" as about Shamima Begum herself. I don't suppose it would make any sense to wait till the podcast was available in January before deciding what it said or which side of the argument, if any, it supported.

it is not actually in my power to make the decision so no i am not willing to take responsibility for something i have no control over… frankly it is a bit of a strange thing to ask

as i have made clear, i support her being tried here and sentenced appropriately… i do not support her unconditional release onto the streets!

it is not actually clear whether or not it was legal for the uk to strip her of citizenship as bangladesh denies that she is a citizen of their country… if that’s true the the decision has effectively made her stateless which is illegal under uk law… i do not see any just reason why that decision cannot be appealed and i suspect it is nothing but politics…. no government wants to be associated with her return

As far as I know she has not committed any crime within the UK. Her UK citizenship should be returned, (& should never have been taken away).

She should then be allowed to return to the UK & the DPP should ascertain whether there is a case against her, if so she should face trail & accept the consequences, which I think she is quite prepared to do.
