One mystery over this story is why are the government going after Mone and her husband, when there are many more Tory minister’s friends who took advantage of this government’s largess, allowing them to rip off the tax-payer with the supply of dodgy PPE, to a much greater amount than these two walked away with.

I see that the govt is proposing to sue her (or her company). Pity they can't chase her for something criminal, jut in case she actually did something criminal.
