Er, that was the reason Johnson was ousted in the first place. It was the reason Sir Graham Brady forbid Johnson from standing against Sunak in a leadership challenge.
Not sure the public want Johnson back, and Tory MPs certainly don’t. Johnson lied constantly which was his downfall. Archer was a fantasist who also had trouble telling the truth, resulting in his two years imprisonment for perjury and perverting justice.

Brady stopped Johnson’s leadership election with Sunak.
Tory MPs had sent over 50 letters to Brady demanding he be ousted, so the last thing they wanted was his return a few weeks later.
Sunak has a hard job regaining the publics trust, but I cannot see him doing that badly that he will be removed. Or that Brady and the 1922 will allow Johnson back.
