Oh jeez! No ta.
OMG no no no, a million times no.
No, I wouldn't. Nor would I stick this in my newspaper as an example of a 'weird' man doing something weird.

I have to say that it looks like a good-quality reproduction, but still ....
Creepy!
Oooh nnnnnoooooo wouldn't work unless it could answer back.... Or in Dave's case ask when dinner was..
No flaming way!!
The spirit of Nornan Bates lives on ...
No but then we don't really know how we'll react in grief until it happens. Unbelievably only today I heard of a man whose wife died very unexpectedly nearly 2 years ago. He's not moved a thing of hers, including the clothes she'd left drying on a rack in the bathroom. Really sad..
I'd do it. I might get a word in for a change.

Going to be an interesting house clearance when he goes, maybe she's fuel for a pyre.
There are just SO many words, but.....this is news.

People in stately homes have busts etc made of their relative dotted round their home. I suppose this is only really one step further. Victorians used to take posed photos with their dead relatives. People all approach death in different ways.

But no, I would not do this when he goes. So he can ignore me sitting on the sofa in front of the tv watching football in death as well as in life?! No way.
Men are not ignoring women while watching sport on TV, rather leaving extended periods of uninterrupted silence to let them offer thoughts and analysis of on-screen events.

Honestly, we can't win. :-P

It doesn't look like it's a very big house and the lady takes up valuable space on the sofa.

Prudie - my dad would have been like that if left to deal with mum's death on his own.

Barmaid - the photographs of dead people always creeped me out a bit. Mr BM would make an excellent kitten climbing frame.
