If it’s what I think (and let’s face it who knows what in that regard) you butted into someone else’s argument and gratuitously insulted them.

ichi; //What if anything do you think will happen in Russia after the war?//
This article begins,
"We are currently witnessing an unfolding revolution in global security that Western policy makers are clearly unprepared for — the impending collapse of the Russian Federation."
I think that is the future of Russia, the exact opposite of what Putin wanted.

Why is Russia such a big country? It’s the geography: there’s no natural barrier bar the glorified range of hills that’s the Urals. It’s in the southern Caucasus where the most effective dissent occurs and it’s no coincidence that that’s a mountainous region

I am grateful to Lesley Chamberlain (she's smashing) for pointing out a gift to the world a few months ago by [ Mosfilm ] the vintage Russian film company. They put the whole of Bondarchuk's incomparable epic, 'War & Peace' (1967) 431 minutes - but you can watch it in stages - on YouTube, to be watched free of charge.
It starts with the camera lingering over the idyllic Russian landscape. Artillery fire, a man screams. Part 1 then opens with Tolstoy's words, (beautifully enunciated ).
"All ideas that have huge consequences are simple. My idea is that since vicious people unite with one another and become strong, then honest people must do the same ".
